A female Araneus diadematus, a.k.a. cross spider, European garden spider, diadem spider, or cross orbweaver.

This photo was taken with a Fujifilm FinePix J40.
For close up and macro shots, I use a lens scavenged from an old telescope, attached to the camera with an orange juice cap.
